Please note that wood is a product made by “nature” and will continue to react to environmental influences even as furniture.  The material may expand and/or contract as it acclimates to the new environment for a period of 12 to 16 months. Some splits, cracks, checking and warping may occur during the acclimation period. We do the best we can to prepare the material with extended air and kiln drying, unfortunately, we can not control every environmental situation. Also note, the product may contain naturally occurring character marks that are unique to wood and part of the beauty.
